Just a little reminder . . . | Lifestyle

With lockdown number 2 now in full swing and a lot of us staying at home I thought I would write a little something that is hopefully helpful and motivating, because we all have those days where all we want to do is stay in our pj's, watch Netflix, I know I am guilty of this too and that is ok!

Routine 

For me I love routine,  I always make sure I make my bed everyday, drink a glass of water with my coffee and get washed and get dressed, this might sound so minimal but can be so effective, I do recommend the Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod this book is game changer, as everyone I do have off days and that's ok, just remember a little progress each day adds up to big results.

know when to switch off 

The internet can be a negative space but it can also be a very inspiring and supportive place at the same time, watch the news to know any updates then turnover. Overthinking and analysing will not benefit anyone in any way. This also means your phone, we are all guilty of spending to much time on them let alone the hole we can fall into endless scrolling on Instagram or Pinterest, both of which I am guilty off, one thing I'm personally trying to do it switch my phone off an hour before bed.

Fresh air 

Something so simple but can be so effect bundle up and go for a walk, get some fresh air and take your favourite hot drink while on your walk.

Do at least one thing you love a day

I mean this literally, read a chapter of a book you have been meaning to start, make your favourite drink, make your favourite snack, go for a walk, chat or FaceTime a friend. This is something I look forward to doing and love. 

It's ok not to be ok

No one is perfect but we are all going through this together and you will get through it and you will see how far you have come and a stronger person you will be because of this.
