Las Vegas Part 1

Right lets talk about this amazing trip of a lifetime to Las vegas! One that has been on my bucket list for a while.
As you would of noticed My Instagram has mainly been pictures of Vegas, Vegas and Vegas, if you don't follow me you can find me at the below details.

The experience itself was amazing, total last minute holiday to celebrate a special birthday with a special someone, so Vegas really wasn't the question, it was the answer!

This holiday will be split over two blog posts as there is so much to go through from photos, tips and tricks and must go to places to visit. I want to share my experiences and help give you an insight if you are considering going to Vegas.

When we arrived at the airport bright and early and checked in then had a browse of the shops and went of to the V-Lounge now this holiday was booked through Virgin Holidays who have looked after us so well, this was an added bonus as customers who book through Virgin can get this little luxury of a private lounge, comfy sitting areas, with endless hot and cold food, bottomless hot and cold drinks . . .  oh and bottomless alcoholic drinks too! YES BOTTOMLESS! The Perfect way to start celebrating, a Rosé never tasted so good at 7am in the morning, but who is judging?
This was all for an amazing £20 each amazing value for money I think, I highly recommend doing this!

A 10 hour plane journey later and we had landed in Vegas, peeking through the windows seeing a glimpse of the vegas strip, excitement took over me like a child on Christmas day, the best way to sum up Vegas . . . an adults playground!

Then we arrived at our hotel Caesars Palace, I can honestly say I have never stayed in any hotel like it, this hotel had everything from a nightclub, a shopping mall, restaurants, bars, casino, swimming pools, spa, hair salon and 2 Starbucks coffee shops (this went down very well in my books) this hotel was huge and took at least 2 days to get round it properly.

On our first day waking up in Vegas was a pinch me moment anyway, but waking up and realising that you will be sky diving out of a plane in a few hours was a bit insane, however when we arrived to the meeting point to be driven to the airfield the sky dive was cancelled due to high winds, not disheartened we decided to re book and try the next day.

After getting back to out hotel we decided to have a little wonder round get our bearings and grab some breakfast and we went to Harrah's for french toast and coffee a really good recommendation!

Refuelled we went to our concierge at our hotel when in Vegas you have to see at least one show, they were so helpful, went through the varieties on offer so we decided to go for dinner at the Jardin at the Wynn hotel before the show, the food was amazing the truffle chips were to die for and the lobster macaroni cheese was out of this world as for the show, Le Reve was stunning a show that is all done in water, the seats we had were fantastic from the acrobatics, dancing, synchronised swimming andfire it's a show that you will love!

A new day in Vegas and today was the day that I would be jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet. Something I have always wanted to do but never had the balls to actually do it, so thanks to my other half surprising me when he emailed me the tickets to print off haha!
The experience from start to finish will be one I remember for ever, boarding the plane in my own bubble trying to not let the thought that I will be jumping out of a plane and falling a mile a minute into my head, the view was amazing from the plane but then the shutter went up and one after the other we all went out, yes I watched everyone jump and I was the last one out!
The feeling as you roll out of the plane and free fall, you feel like your going to die, nothing to hold onto, nothing to stop you, my poor instructors arm welma was my hold on point haha (sorry)! but as I opened my eyes and looked around I was blown away! The clear blue sky the sun shining and the vegas strip in the distance I felt like I was alive! That and the adrenaline pumping round my body at 100 mile an hour.
As much as I have tried to explain the feeling, I really can't but anyone that has done a sky dive will understand, looking back on it now as crazy as it sounds I would do it again!
A massive shout out to Vegas Extreme Sky Diving who really looked after us, re assured me answered all my questions and kept me so calm, we received a T-shirt that I wear with pride and I have my sky dive on a USB that I can watch as many times as I want to! If you have been thinking about doing a sky dive, just do it you won't regret it!

I can honesty say the first 24/48 hours in Vegas were insane nothing like starting your holiday off with a sky dive, Las Vegas Show and dinner at the Wynn.
Stay tuned for Part 2 you won't be disappointed!
