Perfect Nudes With Tom Ford
So this weeks post is a classic can you guess by the title yet? (This is a PG rated blog just to chuck that out there ha).
As I was wondering through the beauty section in Harvey Nichols getting lost in my own beauty bubble (as you do), my eyes going from one counter to the next, not knowing where to look first!
If you are new to this blog welcome you are yet to find out my obsession for nude lipsticks and lip glosses, if you are a regular, thanks for the support and love and yes surely another 2 lipstick won't hurt. . . right?
In my eyes there is always an occasion for a nude lip come rain or shine! So this was no exception especially when it comes to Tom Ford!
The packaging is so luxurious, its classic gold TF initials on the top of each lipstick with gold trim around the edge, I like the idea of pulling this out as you top up your make up throughout the day and feeling sassy.
As for the colours well I bought two shades that even I must admit are very similar, but Nude Vanille has more of a pink tone to it which I think is more a classic Danielle nude, where as the Blush nude is more of a darker brown blush colour, now for the fun part when you mix both of them together, blush nude all over the lip, with nude vanille just in the centre creating the illusion of a fuller lip ta dah!
These lipsticks glide on like butter while keeping my lips hydrated throughout the day, which is why I say its worth spending that extra on quality not quantity. As for the scent of the lipsticks there is a light vanilla, sweet smell which is rather nice, weather it's just my nostrils but I really like anything that smells sweet anyway.
I absolutely love my new lipsticks and would love to try out more of the range. Yes Tom Ford is expensive especially at £40 a lipstick but I say its well worth the money, I'm all for drugstore beauty too, then again it's all about balance.
