July Favourites

Oh hey! You have properly been thinking why I've been missing in action recently, but don't worry I'm back I'm not going anywhere.
Now you may have noticed that the blog has a new look to it, I hope you all love it as much as I do!

Lets get into what I've been loving the past month.

At the beginning of the month I went to my first ever British Summer Time in Hyde Park, London and watched Green Day perform live! Now I'm more of your classic RnB kind of girl, I can honestly say that I really did enjoy myself, the atmosphere, the food and the weather was perfect.

I went for the classic all black girly rock chic look and you can easily wear this outfit with denim shorts as an alternative option.

Leather Jacket - Miss Selfridge

Jeans - Topshop

Black Top - H&M

Tan boots - Dorothy Perkins

Yes this waffle with vanilla ice-cream toped with caramel toffee sauce really was as tasty as it looks!

Another love this month is this gorgeous pair of heels from Marks and Spencer.
I first noticed them the other month and me trying to be good I looked, I tried on and went away to think (so proud of myself ha!) They are so comfortable with a block heel and soft suede material, it was safe to say I kept thinking about them, I don't really have anything else like these in my wardrobe. They would be a perfect shoe that will take me from Summer to Autumn, dress them up or wear them casual with jeans and pretty blouse.

I never used to like reading as I'm dyslexic, now I absolutely love it.
I started reading Cecelia Ahern Where Rainbows End a good a while back and fell in love with the author, I have read more of her other books which I highly recommend, they are more romance based but with not to much fairytale, the books always have a good story to them.
I just finished reading The Year I Met You and I loved it, so off I went to my local bookstore and picked out another one of her latest books Lyrebird and I can't wait to get stuck into it.

The whole Idea of reading I find calming, perfect before bed to wind down, a time you can escape into a world where you can use your imagination from the story as you go along, give me cup of tea, scented candle and a book anyway of the week.

This haircare product really is a 3 minute miracle, a perfect hair treatment that leaves a perfect shine to my hair that also smells stunning, an added bonus is that it doesn't break the bank either, perfect for those who are coming back from a beach holiday, pop this on and your hair will literally glow and feel amazing.

Up until recently I didn't like using sponges for applying make up because of hygiene, but what I was noticing with my brushes is that they were leaving brush stroke marks when I was applying my foundation base. Well not no more, I now use the real techniques sponge and these pink ones from Primark, that leave a flawless finish to the skin.

I really have been loving blonde hair bands, these particular ones from Boots, don't pull my hair out and blend in with my blonde locks, sometimes it can just be the little things that I appriciate.
