Brunch At Selfridges
There is nothing like meeting up with a university friend for brunch to have a good old catch up on what we've been up to recently and that's exactly what I did last month at the Aubaine restaurant in Selfridges.
The Aubaine restaurant was the perfect place for brunch, on the 2nd floor of the luxury department store Selfridges, in central London.
As we walked through the shoe section (trying not get distracted) we arrived at the beautiful restaurant, with a relaxing and calm atmosphere, with freshly made cakes and danish pastries on display, I was so ready for food.
We was seated at the back of the restaurant with a view over London's sunny roof tops as we walked round the corner there are beautiful purple flowers draped from the ceiling, mirrored antic walls making it so pretty and perfect, especially in getting that ultimate picture for Instagram.
As for the food we had worked up an appetite, there is so much variety on the menu both hot and cold, so we both went for the french toast croissant with bacon, caramelised banana and maple syrup, yes it really was as amazing as it sounds and finished of with a freshly made coffee, perfect. Oh and a whole lot of chit chat.
My outfit for the day was this little red dress from Miss Selfridge, I wore the dress with my pearl sandals and my little black top handle bag both from Zara. I really love this because of the bright red colour, yet it's tailored while still being feminine.
Now this outfit will be able take me through into the Autumn, all I need to do is add a leather jacket and some knee high boots.
I bought this when it was full price at £35 but you can now get this in the sale for £17!
I would highly recommend this restaurant, it's in the middle of London on the iconic Oxford street, perfect to go exploring after brunch. The food was amazing, coming from me who is an absolute foodie, even the service was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu.
Last but not least getting that perfect picture for the Instagram.
