The Perfect Valentines Make up With Oonagh Connor

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Valentines than by getting my make up done by none other than Oonagh Connor, a well respected make up artist. From red carpet to TV you name it Oonagh has done it. A lady so passionate and amazing at what she does so couldn't turn down the offer down of her being able to do my make up!

We started of with a base. Oonagh mixed Delilah and dior foundation together and to conceal under the eyes she used Kiko concealer with Estee lauder double wear.

All of these base products were applied using Primark make up brushes which I must say feel amazing on the skin and are worth investing in. I can't wait to get some myself.

After we had completed the base we moved onto the eyes, using a combination of the Revolution eyeshadow palette and the Illamasqua quad eye shadows, to create a soft smokey eye.

Mascara was by Loreal. we then filled in the brows with Bobbi brown and lined them with a mixture of Estee Lauder and Bobbi Brown.

We then went back in and added the Bobbie Brown bronzer for a warm glow, along with a Kiko blusher to make my cheeks pop and me me look more awake.
Oonagh then added Topshop glow to my cheekbones and under my brow bone and then lightly dusted Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar bronze and glow to my cheekbones... Oonagh knows I love highlighter!!
finally to complete the face a light dusting of Chanel transulscent powder was added to my T-Zone where I can get a bit of shine.

Last but not least "the lips".
we used 3 lip liners to create a bespoke classic lip colour and to make the lips more fuller.
Then just in the centre I popped a bit of Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker in love and o beige.
To finish, gloss by Kiko was applied in a beautiful baby pink.

The actually look itself I wanted a daytime glam look that still looked natural, soft smokey eyes that looked polished with a classic nude lip that you could easily wear to a date night or even a date for during the day but still look put together.
I absolutely love this look and can't wait to try it at home with all of the tips and tricks Oonagh has taught me.
