Whats In My Christmas Clutch bag!
With many Christmas parties in full swing, one in partiualr is the classic Christmas work do and mine was no exception, so I thought I would share what I had in my clutch bag to carry me through the night.
To start off my clutch is from Topshop and bought it last year for around £30 and I just love the colour and its big enough to fit the essentials in but not to bulky, it has a nice chunky gold zip detail.
Lets talk brushes, i'm yet to find a nice set of travel size make up brushes but for the moment I'm using my full sized ones from Real Techniques, from left to right I use the first one for powdering my T-Zone, the second duo fibre brush I use for bronzer as it doesn't pick up to much product, which is perfect for not looking like an ompa lump, the last brush is a fan brush for my highlighter again perfect for not picking up to much product, I know it is Christmas but it's not on trend to look like a disco ball!
The lip gloss I used was from Collection and lip liner from Max Factor, both of which can be found on my Christmas Red lip post, Finally mints, you just have to keep things fresh, nothing like breathing on your work colleges with garlic breathe.
The powder I used is by Bourjois in No. 52 which is perfect for taking any shine away as I bust my moves on that dance floor.
Now this next item you may be thinking what an earth is that, well its the best thing since sliced bread, you can spray your favourite perfume into it and twist the bottom back on and ta dah! you don't have to bring a whole glass bottle in your bag, I picked mine up in a perfume shop for £10 and really does make a good stocking filler too!
My other compact is Charlotte Tilbury film star bronze and glow, it has a highlighter and bronzer and I'm obsessed with this, from the texture to the colour, I would feel lost without this.
Last but not least is my Card holder again I can fit cash and a few cards, it comes in handy when you don't want to bring a big purse with you.
My top tip is to just take what you need, I used everything in my clutch and nothing went to waste and dare I say it the Christmas work party went down a treat and so did the prosecco!
