Pucker Up For The Christmas Red Lip
With the party season in full swing many Christmas parties and family gathering's, there will always be a classic red lip that will never let a girl down, a bold red lip can be classy, sophisticated, sassy, chic and be the perfect finishing touch to an outfit, so here are my top red lip products I'm loving!
First up is the Bourjois Rouge Edition lip in velvet matt called "It's Redding Men" thats more of a classic red colour and then "Grand Cru" which is a deep red wine colour, something slightly more edgy.
The texture of these matt lipsticks is soft and really does feel like velvet on the lips, the wear isn't so long lasting but can leave a stain on your lips, you will need to top up after eating or drinking to keep those lips looking on point.
Next up is the classic red lipstick from Estee Lauder called "Scarlet Siren" as you can tell it is much loved, it is just simply classic!
The texture is creamy and has a subtle shine to it, without being over empowering, the wear is more long lasting but you will still need to top up throughout the day.
Now if I am going to use a red lipstick or lipgloss I have to use lipliner, it keeps everything in order and just makes your lips look that little bit fuller and crisp.
I have the Max Factor Colour Elixir in No10 "Red Rush" and this is so creamy and long lasting which is perfect!
Then for the darker shade of reds I have Maybelline Coloursensational in No338 "Midnight Plum" now this isn't so creamy but still long lasting and has a very good pigment to it.
Sometimes if you line your entire lip it creates a good base for the lipstick or just leave you lips covered in the lip liner as an alternative.
The last but not least red lip is Deluxe lip lacquer by Collection, called "Red Carpet" it is a new red to my make up collection and this will not disappoint!
I love both lip glosses and lipsticks but this lipgloss goes to the top of my list, the colour is bright red but has a subtle shimmer but makes your lips look plump and oh so glossy and glamourous!
This wears beautifully the texture is slightly thicker then normal glosses.
I love knowing it's not going to move easily.
