Christmas Countdown!

It's exactly 1 month until Christmas day and I can't wait! I love this time of the year, twinkle lights, cosy nights, mince pies, Christmas party's, shopping, spending time with family and friends and let's not forget the mulled wine!
So I thought it would be a good way to start Christmas on the right foot and give you a couple of tips to get the most out of Christmas.

Tip One
Write A List & Set Yourself A Budget

I love a good list and now is the perfect time to write one, this will keep you on track for who you are buying for and stop from over spending, this time of the year can be an expensive one but be realistic. Just Remember it's not how much money you spend on someone, it's the thought that you have put into it.

Tip Two
Start Shopping Now

You might think it's crazy, but trust me there is nothing like going into a store to look for a gift, to only find out its sold out or not in stock, especially by the time this post goes live it will be Black Friday, things can get wild out there, but you could find some great deals!
This will also give you time to start slowly and not impulse buy, plus it will allow you more time to enjoy fun things with family and friends, instead of sitting up all hours of the night wrapping presents.

Tip Three
Online, For The Love of Technology

This is where I do Love Technology, you can sit at home in your pyjamas and slippers and shop from the comfort of your own home with hundreds of different brands and products right at your fingertips.
There can be many offers and discounts codes available, which means you can save even more! all while sipping on your favourite hot chocolate, perfect!

Tip Four
Update The Christmas Decorations

We all have those Christmas decorations that have sentimental value or the ones hiding in the bottom of the box that you made your parents when you was in infant school, but there is nothing like updating the Christmas decorations, weather you buy a new set of fairy lights, a fresh new wreath for the front door, that candle you have had your eyes on, especially if you are entertaining it defiantly gets me in the festive spirt.

Tip Five
Grab That Advent Calendar

What is Christmas without and advent calendar?! Grab your one now, because as soon as the 1st of December hits, everyone will panic buy.
You wouldn't want to miss out on your favourite chocolate calendar, but in the past couple of year, the anti has been upped and you can get all different types of calendar, from chocolate, to Yankee candle, to perfume, to make up and beauty!
I have bought my beauty advent calendar from Marks and Spencer and I can't wait to open it.
