Autumn Essentials.

Its official we are leaf deep (haha) in Autumn and I'm loving it! Autumn is one of my favourite seasons, The beautiful colours on the trees, crisp mornings and cosy nights and lets not forget Christmas is in 43 days eekkk!

It made me think what are my essentials for this time of the year, well I will let you in on a little secret, I'm going to show you a few of mine.

The first essential is how the weather has gone from mild days to ice cold nights and there is nothing like a classic cable knit jumper.
This beautiful cream jumper is from Miss Selfridge, with side slits at the hem and a snuggly turtle neck, it's comfy and defiantly keeps you warm! I paid £35 but you can pick it up for £28!
I must say I'm loving what they have in store at the moment too and have great offers across all clothing and accessories.

The next essential you may of noticed in the previous pictures, can you spot it? ....... Over the knee boots!
I bought these black suede ones from River island last year and they have brought them back out again this year, I paid £75 for them but I can assure I have had my moneys worth out of them already. The colour is well classic, you can never go wrong with black and the chunky heel is comfy to where. These boots can be worn during the day with jeans and a jumper or dressed up for the evening.

Where would a girls autumn wardrobe be without the essential Tan ankle boots? I have 3 pairs just to be safe (a girl can never have enough pairs of shoes in my eyes).
From left to right - the darkest of the tan boots are from Dorothy perkins and a bargain of £8 from £39 yes! £39 with a gold hardware on the inside of the heel these are perfect for dressing up an outfit.
The middle pair being a lower heel are a perfect day to day ankle boot and super comfy, these were £17.50 on offer at Dorothy Perkins this Season!
The last but not least is the River island boots on the far right with tassel detail on the ankle and a wedge shape chunky heel, I can't remember the exact price I paid but I can truly say the quality is amazing!

Now lets talk about an essential that everyone has hanging in there wardrobe especially for this time of the year a scarf, I have recently purchased this check scarf from Dorothy Perkins, its soft, has tassel detailing, the red, navy and cream colours it was just perfect for what I was looking for and now on offer for £10.80!

So now we are all wrapped up it now time to look after our hands, I always seem to neglect my hands, I seem to moisturise my face and body and seem to forget my hands, but not no more.
I invested in the Sanctuary Spa Velvety hand cream, with shea butter and sweet almond oil this will keep your hands well nourished and soft all through autumn, not to mention the smell that is just pure luxury, a good size to pop in your handbag for on the go.

The next essential is a must have especially for the colder months and that is lip balm, there is nothing like having chapped, sore, dry lips and then your lipstick not sitting right, so make sure you pucker up and keep your lips smooth, soft and subtle with Nivea Lip Balm and it does exactly that. My make up draws are never without a tube of this, and there are no excuses as it affordable and good quality.

Finally a must have essential for Autumn for me is candles, they can come in all shapes, sizes, smells and be placed anywhere in the home from your comfort of your living room to the bathroom when having a bubble bath, with Christmas soon approaching I'm loving the Christmas scents, in particular the Yankee candles in Christmas cookie with notes of sweet vanilla scent mixed with cinnamon and nutmeg, followed by Red apple Wreath with notes of maple syrup, golden apples, brown sugar and amber, perfect to welcome in the festive season.

There you have my Autumn essentials, I hope you enjoyed them and given you some inspiration for the colder months ahead, what are you Autumn essentials?

Don't forget to leave me a comment down below or if you have any requests of what you would like to see on my blog let me know.

Until then stay warm and enjoy Autumn.
